On Monday, talks to terminate the current, prolonged ASUU strike were resumed between representatives of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government.
Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, the president of ASUU, announced the meeting on Monday during an appearance on Channels Television's Politics Today. He said it was to discuss one of the seven issues which ASUU is protesting.
