Prof. Emmanuel Osedeke, the president of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has answered to the Ministry of Education's order ordering all vice chancellors and lecturers on strike to resume their work immediately through the Nigeria Universities Commission.
When the VANGUARD contacted him, he replied sarcastically that his members do not own the campus keys.
Comrade Osedeke further underlined that the Ministry should quit using its misdirection and allow the two of them to reach an agreement in court since it was the government that originally brought them there.
